Spider in the Drain'part one'

In the Eastern part of America there is a very long river that runs into a small lake, studies have shown that the lake should be much larger due to the amount of water coming from the river. exabitions have gone into the lake to see what might be source of this strange anomaly. There apeared to be a very large vertical tube like cave going down the center of the lake, many exapitions have gone down to see what the cave holds, but none have ever found anything, or even been able to go to the bottom of the cave, the divers oxygen would run out before they got deep enough. So for years the lake brought dozens of tourists nation wide, but lately the tourists have been ignoring the big drain and set there eyes to old faithfull. Beacuse of this the land of the big drain has been sold to hydro-electric power plant, and now plans have been made for a new dam to be set up in front of the lake construction has been underway for almost a year now, and it is at this time an old residance of the local area has returned to visit his old home. The man parks infront of a local motel and steps out of his car. The man is wereing boot cut jeans, and blue button shirt, covered by a brown leather jacket, the mans skin is a redish brown, he has deep black eyes, and long black hair with strands of grey every so often... The man goes inside the motel and talks to the girl behind the counter.

"hello, I have reservation"

"name please."

"Josh Pondelik"


The girl gives Josh a key and tells him to go to room 212, he takes his thing and put them in the room, then right away sets out for town, but when he passes by the river he is hoified when he see the construction of the dam, he drives of the road and goes into a near by ditch, then manages to get out and drive to the construction site. When Josh arives he gets out of the car and strarts sceaming at the top of his lunngs; "Stop! please you have to stop!" The workers just turned and looked at Josh weird, he kept yelling until he got ahold of one of the workers.

"Please you need to stop this"

"Hey buddy, I would love to just pack up, go home and watch tv, but I got to put food on the table"

"uh... can I talk to your superzisor?"

"uh, sure, he's over there."



The man was pointing to a man in a grey suit, with a blue tie, and was wearing a hard hat, he had cacajin skin tone, blue eyes, and five o clock shadow. Josh walked over to the man, and was very... direct with what he wanted.



"You need to stop construction now!"

"I'm sorry who are you?"

"My name is Josh Pondelik, and you need to stop construction at once!"

"oh? and why's that josh?"

"well um you see... lets just say you would not belive me if I told you."

"Uh-huh sure, now get off my site."

"you don't understand, if you don't stop..."

"what? my electricity bill will go up, because we don't have a hydro electric dam suppling the area with extra electricity? Get out of here, or i will call the cops."



Josh slowly turned away, but before he left, he asked one more question...



"i'm sorry, what was your name?"

" *sigh* Rick McMan, now get outa here!"



Josh got in his car and drove off. That night Rick got a call at his house about a quarter til nine. It was Josh.



"Hello?"

"You have to stop the construction."

"Wait... wait is, is this Josh?"

"Yes, and you need to stop the construction of that dam!"

"Ugh, alright i'm gonna ask again, why?"

"... I can tell you but not now."

"Oh and why not now"

"well not as much now, but not here... can we meet tomorow?"

"...fine but if you don't give me a solid reason why we have stop building a dam thats almost done, then i'm either calling the cops or, the men in the white coats, you got me?!"

"I got you, trust me you wont regret it! Meet me tomarow at the library at the corner of little rock rd, and new brook dr. At 9:00 am."



And with that Josh hung up. As Rick put down the phone he asked himself one and only one question.



"why did I say I would meet him, I didn't have to say yes..."
